It is a great honor to be asked to show 18 works at Aims Community College in their Ed Beaty Gallery. The exhibit is open to the public and free! There will not be an opening reception. Instead, I will be talking to visual art classes during the opening week about my intentions for the works displayed in the gallery.

The theme will be around the intentions that an artist has as they create a piece of art. Is the goal “composition and design?” Or, perhaps a theme and inspiration to tell a grander story? At times, might the artist simply be experimenting and enjoying the act of creation.
